Dear Lady Shooters,
Please join our
effort in 2010! Even though we are not holding a regular registered skeet shoot
in Memphis in 2010, we want to continue our efforts to promote ladies shooting
and continue our support for all the kids & families who need our help at St.
Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
We have defined a
new format that will not require a lot of travel and will allow all ladies to
participate from their own zone (see next page for eligible shoots). Just
participate in at least 3 shoots from the selected list and your combined HOA
score will count for 66.7% (or 2/3) of your total score. Then, throughout the
shooting season, we’re asking you to solicit tax-deductible donations from your
friends, family, and shooting buddies for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Cash for Kids Program. Your donations raised will count for 33.3% (or 1/3) of
your total score. 100% of the money collected is donated directly to St.
Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
You can send these
checks (payable to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital) to Louise Terry any
time throughout the summer to be deposited.
At the end of the
season, 12 ladies will be winners (see awards on next page): Champion, Runner
Up, Third, and Class 1st, 2nd and 3rd in three Lewis Classes (that’s a total of
9 Lewis Class awards!). You don’t need to be the best shooter to win! You just
need to be the best combination of
$$ collector and
shooter!! Everyone has a chance at top prizes!! Results will be tabulated and
tracked on the www.ladiescharityshootclassic.org website.
You don’t even need
to shoot minimums! There is no entry fee!
Just shoot three
400-bird events from the detailed list of 30 available shoots!
(Your best 3
HOA scores count if more than 3 shoots are shot).
Here’s What You Do:
First, as you put
together your skeet schedule for 2010, be sure to plan at least 3 shoots from
the attached list of 30 available shoots, anywhere in the country, as long as
they are on the list.
Second, go to the http://www.ladiescharityshootclassic.org
website, sign up, & print your Cash for Kids tracking forms. Registration
opens Feb. 1 and the deadline for Sign-Up is June 1, 2010.
Third, start
collecting tax-deductible donations for Cash for Kids. Collect any amount from
everyone you can…all summer. The total of your collections will represent 1/3
of your total score. All checks must be received by Friday, September 10th
to count toward your total contribution.
Fourth, watch the
website throughout the summer as we post event results at the beginning of each
month.
And finally,
challenge your lady shooting friends to enter with you. The more participants,
the more fun, …..and more donations for St. Jude Children’s Hospital!
The last shoot
concludes on September 6th and our award winners will be notified by
Sept.15th. Let’s make this shooting year count for both
you and the kids!
